The Call to the Wild
Share
In the hushed pre-dawn hours, as you trek through the dense forest, an internal silence takes hold. The world shrinks to the crunch of leaves underfoot and the rhythm of your own breath. This is a powerful metaphor for our spiritual journey. Just as the elk hunter must leave the comforts of home and venture into the wilderness, so too must we, as Christians, be willing to step out of our comfort zones to seek God. The wilderness is where we confront our fears, test our resolve, and learn to rely not on our own strength, but on God's.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)
